Ladies Star Lake, Wisconsin Kayak Fishing Adventure

Come join Hero Fishing for our First Ladies kayak event of 2024. This event will be held in beautiful Star Lake, WIsconsin.  We will be kayak fishing for panfish and bass. All experience levels welcome and fishing/ kayaking gear provided. 

Itinerary:

Saturday June 1

12:45-1:00 pm Arrive, Air B&B tour

1:30 pm Kayak Fishing PowerPoint, go over kayaks and fishing gear, practice casting

3:00 pm Head to Lake, fish evening bite (panfish)

8-9 pm Back to Air B&B, Dinner, fire with s’mores

11pm lights out

Sunday June 2

6:00 am Breakfast

6:30 am Head to a local Lake (wind dependent)

11:30 am Packed Lunch on the Lake

Early Afternoon Head back to Air B&B

Afternoon Head home

What to bring:

-Clothing: suggest layers, often its cool in the morning and evening and warms up in the middle of the day.

- Rain jacket or suit, in case of light rain.

-Shoes- either waterproof or something that can get wet (I typically wear rubber boots or flip flops for kayak fishing).

-Sunglasses and a hat

-Sunscreen and bug spray

- WI fishing license

-Head lamp

-Shampoo/ conditioner/ soap for shower

Plans for poor weather

Pending the weather is unsafe to kayak there is always fun things to do in the area- pretty hiking trails lakeside, cute stores, tasty restaurants, ice cream shop, game at the cabin etc.
